General Terms and Conditions

Pricing Terms

All prices are inclusive of delivery and packing charges and VAT, and are in J sterling. Any exclusive exemption would be separately marked on the web site itself. Prices may fluctuate, without notice, and would only be altered to your benefit if you have confirmed the order.

Payment

Payment options include cheque, postal money order or conventional money orders when ordering via post. You can also pay through credit or debit card of major bank’s while ordering the product over the phone. HSBC Secure e-payments are immediately processed when ordered through a card, while a cheque is only processed five days before the product is shipped.

Foreign Clients

Though we have designed our web site with the UK clients as a target base, foreign queries are also welcome. An advantage for our foreign customers is that the UK Sales Tax or VAT isn’t applicable in their case, though shipping charges have to be paid off on a higher note. Call for more details.

Product Visibility and Availability

The images, especially the colours of the products on the web site may not be available always. Stocks may also not last, with small disparities in the site. The date and time of the order may not match with the provided tentative dates. However, we try and remove all such technical glitches and keep you informed during the whole process.

Accepting Orders, Security and Delivery

While you place an order for a product, it’s only after accepting it and sending you a confirmation mail to check and correct errors if any, do we set the deal to be a legal contract. The acceptance of the order may depend on several things, such as confirmation of your identity, your and valid payment methods.

We strive to maintain a secure and safe transaction process, and keep the transaction confidential as far as possible. Even though we cannot specify the exact time and date of the product delivery, we do inform you within 48 hours before the product is dispatched.

All deliveries are to be signed into acceptance, and any damaged goods (before you signing it on as the owner) should be refused acceptance on delivery.

Cancellations

While we maintain a cancellation policy, the product order can only be cancelled by notifying us before or after 14 days of the dispatch acceptance. Moreover, the product, even if opened, should be unscratched and should be in the same state as it was, when dispatched.

All the cancelled products have to be returned at the client’s own expense, and certain travel and shipping charges have to be provided once we arrive to retrieve the cancelled product.

Transit Damage & Faulty Goods

We take utmost care to package and ship products to guard them against any damage during transit. However, if any damage occurs, you should refuse acceptance of the delivery. If you have come to know of the damage after opening the parcel, inform us within 48 hours, and we shall replace the product as soon as possible. Faulty goods are liable to a full refund or replacement, provided that the fault has developed within 28 days of the delivery. This excludes faults caused by accidents, misuse or negligence on the part of the client.

Legal and Copyright Issues

English laws are applicable on the sales of this web site and all disputes are subject to jurisdiction under the English court of law. The home site of Brickmedia.co.uk is the sole liable site for these terms and conditions. Outbound links do not fall under this category.

Brickmedia.co.uk owns the copyright to all material and content published in its site and you as the user cannot duplicate or create any derivative content from them. Neither can you broadcast, copy, republish, reproduce, transmit and link the content to any other web site or media form, without the prior permission of Brickmedia.
